Mission and Vision
The Overflowing Cup coffee shop is dedicated to providing excellent service and great quality drinks to every person who walks through the doors of the church. Our goal is ministry through customer service, a Christ-centered attitude, and a heart for fellowship. Within a church, unity is important and it is our goal to provide an atmosphere where believers can come together and experience a friendly smile and a great cup of coffee.
Acts 2:46-47a “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.”
Ministry Needs
Our largest need within the ministry right now is additional team members. We are constantly looking for people with a heart for service and a desire to bring others closer to Christ through fellowship.
Training and flexible shifts are available for those who want to serve once a month or on a regular basis. In addition to Sunday mornings, we are open for Wednesday nights and other events like concerts, weddings, and conferences.
Ministry Donations
In most coffee shops, you will see a tip jar for your change and a chance to appreciate good service. At The Overflowing Cup however, we set ourselves apart as a ministry dedicated to serving people, and it would not be appropriate to keep any change that comes our way. Instead, we donate all of our tips to a specific ministry each month in an attempt to give back to the church and support other ministries that require more funding. For example, those tips may be able to send someone to Mexico, send a child to Vacation Bible School, or enable someone to go on a retreat who is not financially able.

Services Offered
For almost every church event, you will be able to enjoy the coffee shop and the food court before, during, and after events. It is the goal of this ministry to provide an atmosphere that promotes fellowship and a sense of community among the members. In addition to the usual café services, The Overflowing Cup looks forward to working with individual ministries by providing coffee for small groups, bible studies, concerts, gatherings, and conferences.
As new families continue to come and discover Riva Trace, we have coupons that are available in the Welcome Center for free drinks on not only the first visit, but for a returning visit as well. This is not only a gesture of our gratitude for coming by to check us out, but hopefully a chance to get to know other people instead of simply walking in for service and walking back out.

Product Information
The Overflowing Cup is a full service cafe that offers gourmet coffee and espresso drinks. We use the finest fair-trade coffee and flavored teas, as well as juice, cider, and hot chocolate for those who do not prefer coffee. In addition to our beverage selection, a variety of pastries and cookies are available to accompany meals or just a light snack.
Our equipment is top of the line in the industry and our team is trained to ensureconsistency and quality with every drink. We have partnered with Five Star Coffee and use Ghirardelli sauces for our specialty drinks. We also offer a variety of Torani syrups and the widely used Big Train powders for our Chai and blended drinks. We are more than happy to say that all of this comes to you at a price less than that of most competitors with the same excellence.
