One church can be better than two. Riva Trace Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Edgewater are coming together as one. Our combined ministries and resources will provide a stronger foundation for our church and the community we serve. Join us to see God’s amazing work first-hand and build stronger faith, healthier families, and more friends. We are going to be better together than we ever were apart!

Faith

The Bible says “as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” We believe that same principle holds true for us—vand together we’ will sharpen our faith. Our churches have a 90-year combined history of serving God and our community. As we combine, we’ are taking our foundation of active faith, sacrificial community service, and healthy family relationships to a whole new level. Come join us and strengthen your faith.

Family

Families take many forms —and helping them flourish can be challenging in today’’s world. We believe worshipping, serving and growing together spiritually, helps nurture a healthy family. As our churches unite, we are designing specialized ministries to help families thrive. Bring your family and join us as we grow and become a better church family together.

Friends

We live in a busy digital world. All too often our calendars are full and our hearts are empty. Giving back with our time, talents, and resources alongside others who are doing the same, creates community and builds friendships. Good churches challenge us to give of ourselves, and along the way, lasting friendships are created. Join us as we develop better friendships and give back to the greater community.
