 Riva Trace believes that children are an important part of our church
family. It is our mission to love every child unconditionally and
to help them reach their full, Christ-like potential.
Sunday Morning Programs
Nursery (Infants and
Toddlers up to 24 months)
We are not
just changing diapers, we are changing lives! From the moment
they are born, the love of Jesus is given to every child that comes
through the doors. Let us care for your child while you worship,
allowing your focus to be on what God has for you each Sunday while
your child plays and socializes with loving adults and other babies.
The security and well-being of your baby is as important to us
as it is to you. When your child arrives, we will give you a
number that may be used to alert you during the service if it is
necessary for you to return to your baby. This number also
ensures that your child only leaves the nursery with you.
Sunday School
Kidz Central offers weekly Sunday school classes for children as
young as 2½ years old. In a classroom setting, children are
taught how to apply Bible truths to their lives. Through creative
and kid-friendly activities, children begin learning how a book called
the Bible can transform everyday life.
Kidz Church
Kidz Church brings Vacation Bible School to children year round!
We shepherd children through praise and worship, large-group Bible
story time and small-group discussions where we encourage children to
ask questions and show them how to use God's word to find the
answers. Kidz Church mainly focuses on introducing children to
who God is and nurturing a life-long, devoted relationship with Him.
Wednesday Night Programs
During the school year Riva Trace
offers children the chance to learn and praise God through fun and dynamic evening programs.
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)
First through fifth graders spend time
exploring their spiritual journey in a high-energy and fun-packed
environment. J.A.M. highlights Christian-themed lessons, games
and activities that encourage Bible memorization, serving others and
developing their talents for Christ.
WeeJ.A.M
This program is simply J.A.M. tailored to a younger
crowd. Here, four and five year olds begin their Bible studying
experience in a creative setting that features crafts, music and
snacktime.
Kidz Praise
Here, children ages 4 through the
fifth grade can kick off their Wednesday evening by praising God
through song and music. This program teaches kids
the importance of worship during a fun-filled time of singing, learning
motions for songs, musical activities and learning about basic music
fundamentals. Children may also participate in special
performances.
