WHO WE ARE
NAME: The Student Ministry at Riva Trace is called “Vital Link.” The name originates from 1 Timothy 2:5 which says “For there is only one God and One Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus.”
GOAL: Whether you’ve been in church your whole life, or have never been before, God wants to have a relationship with you through Christ. That’s the goal of Vital Link: To draw students, no matter where they are in their spiritual walk, near to God through Worshiping, Gathering, Serving, and Sharing.
WHAT WE DO (Wed. P.M.)
Wednesday Nights is a combination of “Worshiping Weekly,” “Gathering in a Group,” and “Serving.” Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm, the students come for a time of worship, small groups, service, and games. The time of worship begins at 6:45 led by our Student Worship Team, and then the students choose which “Growth Group” they would like to take for that specific semester. There are two Middle School groups and two High School groups. These groups are led by our Student Adult Staff, and they lead bible studies with different topics, books of the bibles, and so on.
