For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 2:5

The Student Ministry at Riva Trace is called VitalLink. VitalLink Student Ministry exists to connect students with our Mediator, Jesus Christ. The goal of VitalLink is to help our guide our students to KNOW Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, GROW in their relationship with Him, and SHOW their faith to the world.

For students who have never or rarely ever been to church, we want you to have several ways to get connected. From sports, music, conferences, concerts, all-nighters, and other events, students will have the opportunity to know us and others without having to feel intimidated.

For students who are looking to go deeper in their spiritual walk, we provide many opportunities to Know, Grow, and Show. Whether you are in middle school (6th-8th) or high school (9th-12th) and no matter where you are in your spiritual journey, VitalLink is a place where you can come, feel accepted, make friends, and live out your faith.

Sunday Mornings

We value relationships between students and God, students and leaders, and students with other students. Sunday mornings are an opportunity for students to strengthen these relationships as the GROW deeper in the Word of God.

Beginning at 9:00AM, the Student Wing is open for students to come and hang out. At 9:15AM, both Middle School & High School students enter into the Student Worship Area for student led worship and a biblical message. After worship, the students attend a small group for further discussion. Sunday mornings are planned to end around the time that the main service ends at roughly 10:30AM.

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday Night VitalLink activities are more relaxed than Sunday morning meetings and provide a great opportunity for new students to learn how they can KNOW Jesus Christ and other fun, Christian friends.

At 6:30PM, students go to the Student Worship Center to hang out and visit with friends that have not been seen during the week. This area is filled with foosball, air hockey, ping-pong, darts (rubber!), and a variety of board games that students can play, or they can just talk. After a period, the Middle and High School students gather together for a brief Gospel lesson followed by small group discussion. After small groups, the gym, Student Worship Center, and outdoors and are available to play dodgeball, basketball, or to just hang out until the evening is concluded at 8PM.
