Purpose: Pick up food from AA Co. Food Bank and MD Food Bank (on occasion) and deliver to RTBC pantry.
Responsibilities: Schedule monthly food pick up at AA Co. Food Bank in Crownsville. Pick up and deliver food to RTBC Food Pantry. Place food in pantry in preparation for shelving. Maintain inventory count of food delivered. Occasionally, pick up food at a MD Food Bank. Notify inventory control volunteer and pantry coordinator volunteer when tasks completed.
Purpose: Distribute food to people and families in need.
Responsibilities: Participate in numerous activities associated with operating the pantry on distribution day each month. These duties include, but not limited to, greeting existing and new clients, registration of new clients, initial physical set up and breakdown of tables, sorting food for family baskets, bagging food in preparation for distribution, assisting in placing food in client's vehicles. Administrative duties include: maintaining monthly attendance of clients, enrollment of new clients, and preparation of reports to be submitted to AA Co. each month.
Purpose: Distribute food to people and families in need.
Responsibilities: To receive pantry clients with a friendly greeting. Assist in explaining the process to new clients, answering questions from clients, verifying address information, and obtaining signatures before distribution of food.

Responsibilities: Purchase food from local stores to supplement what is received from the AA Co. Food Bank. RTBC Benevolence Funds are used to make food purchases. Transport purchased food to the Food Pantry, stock shelves, and inform pantry inventory coordinator of the items and quantity purchased. All food must be purchased and shelved before the Friday of Pantry day.
Purpose: Weekly food distribution at RTBC.
Responsibilities: Receive, inventory, and weigh food items. Arrange classroom and set up tables to display food items. Greet clients coming to receive food. Maintain orderly distribution process. Monitor quantities given per person. Clean up room and restore it to previous arrangement.
Purpose: Pick up food from local grocery stores and farmers’ market and deliver to RTBC pantry.
Responsibilities: Schedule weekly food pick up at Edgewater grocery stores during morning hours. Pick up fresh produce at Farmers’ Market. Pick up and deliver food to RTBC Food Pantry. Place food in pantry in preparation for shelving. Maintain inventory count of food delivered. Notify inventory control volunteer and pantry coordinator volunteer when tasks completed.
