MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers)

MOPS at Riva Trace is a chapter of MOPS International, a non-denominational Christian organization, dedicated to nurturing moms who have one or more children ages 6 and under. Our group provides friendship, encouragement, activities and fun! We strive to connect mothers and help them develop meaningful relationships in an understanding environment. It is the desire of MOPS to nurture every mother of preschoolers, whether you work, stay home, are single, married and no matter what your background or faith.
We meet the first Tuesday night of each month at Riva Trace Baptist Church, from 6:45-9:00. A typical meeting would include a speaker about a topic that will encourage you as a mom, time for discussion, social time to get to know other moms, and a simple craft. We strongly encourage that you leave children with outside childcare, with the exception of nursing moms. We do have childcare available on site with a reservation and for a small cost.
