 Riva Trace believes that
children are an important part of our church family. It is our mission
to love every child unconditionally and to help them reach their full,
Christ-like potential.
Sunday Morning Programs
Nursery (Infants and Toddlers up to 24 months)
We are not just changing diapers, we are changing lives! From the moment
they are born, the love of Jesus is given to every child that comes
through the doors. Let us care for your child while you worship,
allowing your focus to be on what God has for you each Sunday while your
child plays and socializes with loving adults and other babies.
The security and well-being of your baby is as important to us as it
is to you. When your child arrives, we will give you a number that may
be used to alert you during the service if it is necessary for you to
return to your baby. This number also ensures that your child only
leaves the nursery with you.
Preschoolers (2-5 Year Olds)
Our desire is to make KidzCentral an engaging and safe place where
even the youngest children can experience God's love for them and be
cared for by loving, invested adults. We want all of our preschool kids
to know: God loves them, God made them, and Jesus wants to be their
Friend Forever!
Elementary Age (Kindergarten—5th Grade)
KidZone (9:15 am)
In KidZone we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can
be energetic (even loud) and that good leaders always care. Before kids
head off to middle school we want to make sure three things stick: 1. I
need to make the wise choice. 2. I can trust God no matter what. 3. I
should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Sunday School (11:00 am)
In a classroom setting, children are taught to apply Bible truths
to their lives. Through creative and kid-friendly activities,
children begin learning how a book called the Bible can transform
everyday life.
Wednesday Night Programs
During the school year Riva Trace offers children the chance to learn
and praise God through fun and dynamic evening programs.
Kidz Breakout
Wednesday evenings are a time of biblically based learning and fun
designed to help your child realize and grow in their gifts and
talents. The evening begins with a time of intentional worship lead by
Praiz Craiz and is continued by a large group lesson time where the goal
is for every child to learn to make wise choices, that they can trust
God no matter what happens and that they should treat others the way
they want to be treated. Each week the children have devotional
activities to complete and memory verses to memorize. The 4-week lesson
units are focused around the same virtue, reiterating its value with
different stories from the Bible and helping the kids to learn the real
life application of the bible and the monthly virtue.
After large group the kids breakout into:
Boys and Girls Club
Boys and Girls Club, for our K-5th graders. They learn how you can
be a Christian in everything you do while having fun learning different
activities like cooking, putting up a tent, tennis, and sewing, ect.
KidzPraiz
KidzPraiz, our K-3rd grade class for kids interested in
worship and singing. The children will learn how to praise and worship
God and why it is so vital, They also have opportunities to perform
during Sunday services throughout the year
PraizCraiz
PraizCraiz, our 4th and 5th grade worship team. This group learns
how to lead worship and puts it into practice on Sunday mornings leading
our KidZone in a time of worship
Nursing Mother’s Room
Is in the nursery, where the services can be viewed and heard.
There is a one time fee of $10 per child 3 1/2 - 5th grade to help
pay for supplies and snacks. Money should never be an issue. If you
can’t afford this fee please let Michele Clow or Pastor Bill Bloomquist
know.
