How should I dress?

At Riva Trace, you come as you are.  Most people dress casually. You will see people dressed in jean and t-shirts as well as suits and dresses.

Where do I park?

For your first time at Riva Trace we recommend parking in the reserved visitor spaces in front of the building near the Worship Center entrance.

Where do I go?

Once you enter the building at the Worship Center entrance you will find our foyer.  Here you will find our Welcome Center and several helpful volunteers. They will be able to direct you to the Worship Center, Riva Kidz, Student Area, Classrooms, and Restrooms. If you have a question they can find the answer for you.

What is the worship like?

Worship at Riva Trace is a God-centered gathering that includes biblical messages that both challenge and encourage.  The music is contemporary in style and varied in content from energetic praise to contemplative worship.

Where do my children go?

We have a vibrant Riva Kidz program for children birth to 5th grade. Children are special to us at Riva Kidz. We are committed to providing a safe environment for children to learn and grow, while giving peace of mind to every parent. To achieve these goals we have adopted a security policy which provides guidelines and safety procedures for children of all ages.

What is in store for my teenager?

On Sunday mornings at 9:15 we meet for worship, led by our student band.  We then have a large group teaching time followed by small group time that is divided by grade and gender.

On Wednesday evenings students gather at 6:30PM for fellowship time where they hangout and play games, which is then followed by a brief lesson and small group discussion. After small groups, the gym, Student Worship Center, and outdoors are available to play games or hangout until the evening is concluded at 8PM.

Who will be working with my children?

Not only do we have policies and procedures in place, but we also do a nation-wide background check on everyone who works with children and teenagers.

Is the church handicap accessible?

Yes.  There are plenty of reserved parking spaces in front of the building. If at anytime you need assistance please stop by the Welcome Center. In addition, hearing assisted devices are available in sound booth for use in the worship center.
