Psalm 71:17-18

Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.

For nearly 40 years, Riva Trace has remained committed to our mission of sharing the life-changing love of Jesus with a hurting world. Our preschool ministry reaches over 100 families each year, while our Cherished Members ministry regularly visits those who can no longer attend in person. Our church strives to meet the needs of everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. Additionally, we extend our outreach beyond our congregation through ministries such as the Food Pantry, City Serve, School Outreach, and mission trips. We also focus on planting churches both nationally and internationally, expanding the spiritual influence of Riva Trace Baptist Church around the globe.

As a church, we have a longstanding history of bold, God-honoring acts of faith. We began by voting to build our first building with just 21 people and later made the significant decision to leave our original campus to create a new future on a $14 million, 55-acre property featuring a 63,000-square-foot ministry center. Riva Trace has always stepped out in faith, trusting God to provide. Over the years, we have trained hundreds of pastors and strengthened churches in various countries, continually trusting God for greater ministry opportunities.

Now, it is time for us to take another bold step toward the future ministry that God has in store for Riva Trace Baptist Church. While we celebrate our past, we recognize that God is a God of the future. It is time to lay the foundation for a future that will have an even greater impact. Our “Leaving a Legacy” capital campaign is designed to propel our mission into the future that God envisions for Riva Trace Baptist Church. Each component of our goal will provide the necessary resources to turn that vision into reality. Our story is still being written, and the best is yet to come. Join us as we work together to create a future that surpasses our past and declares God’s glory for generations to come.
